Wee reader makes his appearance

It’s been 9 days of wonder, frustration, lack of sleep, plenty of poop, and unforgettable little moments. And there will be more to come!

My reading has lagged, obviously. The only book I’ve finished this month was Charlaine Harris’ Dead Until Dark, which I attempted to read while in the hospital. I needed some kind of very light reading, and since I’ve watched the TV series, I already knew the plot. Unfortunately, in this case, the TV version was so much better than the book. If I had read the book first, I probably would not have given the show a try! So no more Charlaine Harris for me, but I’ll still keep True Blood on my (now stagnant) Netflix queue. Otherwise, I’ve been attempting to read several different books, trying a little Shackleton (South: The Story of Shackleton’s 1914-1917 expedition)on my iPod Touch upstairs before napping, continuing with Murakami’s The Windup Bird Chronicle which I had brought along to the hospital for the induction. Ah well, that’s not what’s important right now. This is:
