Book to Movie or TV Show Favorites – what did you love or hate this year; did you both watch the movie and read the book; which was better

So I may be one of the few who didn’t like reading The Martian but I sure enjoyed watching the movie!

Ridley Scott did such an incredible job with the movie. It was not just exciting (even when I knew what was going to happen) but also surprisingly beautiful. Matt Damon is always a good actor, and he gave Mark Watney much more depth and character than he seemed to have in the book.

Plus there was Donald Glover!

And erm, I’m not sure what other book to movie/TV series I watched this year. I don’t really get to watch many of the latest movies so tend to rely on Netflix for my movie/TV-viewing. I’m not quite sure that Jurassic World counts, but that sure was a fun movie to watch.
