Hooray! The husband was away last week from Tuesday morning to late Friday so it was good to have him back.
Boo… because he had been away at the conference he had to catch up on work on Saturday which meant we didn’t really do much. But we did go out for Korean food at least!
Hooray! Halloween was fun as always, although it drizzled slightly for a bit. As we are out trick or treating with the kids, we leave a bucket of candy out on our front steps and this is the first year it was all gone. One greedy kid or just more than last year? We did notice some houses which had candy last year had their lights out this year. Maybe because it was a Monday?

Watching:
Gilmore Girls. I’ve watched this series so very many times but you know what, I still love watching it. I have to admit I’m a bit apprehensive about these new episodes coming up at the end of the month. While I am DYING to find out what happens to everyone, what if it’s not as brilliant as the original? What if it’s like those awkward few eps where Christopher is with Lorelei and they’re celebrating not-Christmas?
Eating:
Garretts Popcorn – the husband brought back a large bag from Chicago where he was for the past week, on a work thing. He got a mix of caramel and cheese. I don’t know. I’m more of a regular popcorn kinda person.
Drinking:
Nespresso
Cooking:
Is this November? It doesn’t really feel like it in terms of weather! The past week I’ve been wearing T-shirts out because it’s been so warm. I’m looking forward to cooler weather so I can make cheesy baked things like baked rice, baked pasta! This may be the warmest November since I’ve lived here.
And oh man, I don’t have a dolsot but I really want to eat this mac and Kimcheese dolt bibim-mac!

We got three whole trick or treaters. So, we didn’t need to go anywhere to get candy. lol

I didn’t get any trick or treaters at all! I wasn’t sure if I would or not, but I registered to hand out candy online and I left my porch light on, and still nothing. I had to eat all my candy myself.

I’m afraid to admit this, but I haven’t watched “The Gilmore Girls”. When it was one TV, I saw one episode (in the middle somewhere) and wasn’t entranced, and I never went back. But when I hear it talked about, I feel like I must have missed something?! Should I give it another try and start from the beginning?
