#amonthoffaves2016 – Most Memorable Reads

A Month of Faves is hosted by AndiTanya and Tamara

The Most Unique, Weird or Most Memorable Book(s) Read This Year

Memoirs of a Porcupine (my thoughts)

I read this for the Weirdathon and that already says plenty about it! Told from the perspective of a porcupine, a familiar, this is an unusual and very memorable read.

Delicious Foods – James Hanaham (my thoughts)

So in this book, there are three voices. One of which is Scotty aka crack. A strange seductive voice. How can one ever forget a book like that?

Gold Fame Citrus Claire – Vaye Watkins

This one hit very close to home as California has been in a drought for, well, far too long.

Yes Please – Amy Poehler
The audiobook was awesome – what a great guest list! Carol Burnett, Seth Meyers, Patrick Stewart, Kathleen Turner! Also, Patrick Stewart reads a plastic surgery haiku.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl – Ryan North, Erica Henderson (Artist)

Unbeatable. And Unforgettable!

      1. Ooo, this looks great! Adding to my list (just finished some of the others you’ve recommended)! Thanks! (Maybe I can work in one more exclamation mark!)

  1. I’ve been eyeing Delicious Foods…and another blogger I’m usually on the same page with just read it and loved it.

  2. I read Gold Fame Citrus and found it very strange. I liked the first and last thirds, but hated the middle!
