Ooh, Exit West. I wasn’t keen on The Reluctant Fundamentalist but I see Exit West has been longlisted for the Booker. Is it good? Your pancakes look nice. We went out for a pancake breakfast in town and it was terrible – they were incredibly thick and tasteless, just like chewing your way through cooked flour.
