It just feels like December is whooshing on by so fast.
And I always feel so behind! I managed to get Christmas cards sent out (most of ours go overseas) and hopefully they will get to their recipients in time! I sent out a handmade scarf and beret to a dear friend in Japan and just yesterday made gingerbread cookies with the boys. The kitchen was a mess after but we had a great time!

Watching:
I’m thinking of having the kids watch Nightmare Before Christmas, one of my all-time favourite movies, but am wondering whether 4 is too young for that….
Listening:
Still listening to Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban with the kids. And also Tom Hanks’ Uncommon Type (not with the kids that is!)

Gingerbread cookies

Cooking:
Haven’t quite figured out this part yet for the week. I do have Brussels Sprouts to cook up and broccoli, so definitely some kind of thing where I roast them in the oven. Maybe a tray bake thing with chicken drumsticks and squash.

Oh yummy, Brussels sprouts! I hope you’ve done them up right — they’re one of my favorite vegetables, if not my very favorite. I like to saute them and put salt and sumac, which makes them extremely yum.
