It’s Tuesday and it’s been a cough cough cough week

Ugh. This past week has been a not so good one – I’ve come down with some sort of cold/cough thing that just has me beat. I finally decided to try some NyQuil last night. I really hate/love NyQuil, the way it knocks me out so easily and yet leaves me feeling so tired and hungover the next day that I wonder, was there really a point to taking it? But take it I will, so that I won’t be up at 4 coughing and coughing!

Anyway, coughs aside, it’s been a do-nothing-much kind of weekend. But there was rain! And hail!

Currently…

I read:

Apparently when I’m sick the thing that helps is romance novels. I’ve disdained this genre for most of my life but I decided to come in with an open mind and I was wowed by the clever and funny writing. Consider me a fan now of Tessa Dare and Courtney Milan!

Romancing the Duke – Tessa Dare
Duchess War – Courtney Milan
The Heiress Effect – Courtney Milan

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date
