With the exception of one story, a spoof (?) of Law and Order, listing synopses of episodes (don’t watch the show, didn’t get the story), this was a brilliant collection of stories that deal with the female body. At times frightening, at times magical, always inventive and complex. I found myself wanting to read story after story yet also wanting to come back and reread them more slowly again.
Real Life Reading 
I’ve read a lot of good things about this and look forward to reading it (sometime!) it’s a good sign when you feel like you want to reread a story!

I loved this book too, even the Law and Order story (once I got into the swing of it). It seems to be up for all kinds of awards, and deservedly so!
