Long weekends often throw me off. It was Labor Day yesterday in the US, so there was no school, no work, but with everything that is happening out there (pandemic, wildfires, bad air quality), we stayed at home.

But on Sunday, which was a super hot day (the temp went up at 41C!) and the kids decided it was just cooler to sleep downstairs so we “camped” in our living room together. The 7yo is a very restless sleeper though, so all his tossing and turning and kicking meant that I didn’t sleep well. But they had a great time!

I didn’t take many photos last week! But this was a mask my 9yo painted for class. They were learning about Beijing Opera.
