Super Long Book Titles #TopTenTuesday

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is:

Super Long Book Titles

I decided to go with just titles and not include subtitles – there are many books, non-fiction especially, that have such long sub-titles. But I’m going to ignore those.

Jennifer, Hecate, Macbeth, WIlliam McKinley, and Me, Elizabeth – E.L. Konigsburg

The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires – Grady Hendrix

The Wall of the Sky, The Wall of the Eye – Jonathan Lethem

More of This World or Maybe Another – Barb Johnson

Where the God of Love Hangs Out – Amy Bloom

There Once Lived a Woman Who Tried to Kill Her Neighbor’s Baby: Scary Fairy Tales – Ludmilla Petrushevskaya (ok so this has a subtitle but the main part of the title is long enough!)

You Know When the Men Are Gone – Siobhan Fallon

How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming – Mike Brown

What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank – Nathan Englander

Me, Who Dove into the Heart of the World – Sabine Berman

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

  2. I’ve been wanting the read ‘The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Killing Vampires,’ ‘Me Who Dove Into the Heart of the World’ and ‘There Was Once a Woman Who Tried to Kill Her Neighbor’s Baby’ for a while. I’m not sure about buying ‘There Once Was a Woman…’ though because the author has written several thematically similar books with bizarre and lengthy titles and I don’t know which one to read first. 😛
