This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is:
(it’s a winter freebie)
So my topic this week will be
Book Covers to Gave At So I Can Pretend It’s Snowing Outside Although That’s Never Going To Happen
I have been living in the SF Bay Area for about ten years now, and we have had snow on the very top of our peaks (elevation: 2520 feet) about maybe 3 times.
So no snow falling outside my window for me – although since this is California, I do have the option of driving just a few hours to the ski slopes. Does it snow where you are?
(The first four are TBR)
Winter People – Jennifer McMahon
Dirty Snow – Georges Simenon
Freedom is Space for the Spirit – Glen Hirshberg
The Snow Tourist – Charlie English
(The following books are those I’ve already read).
Greenglass House – Kate Milford
Snow Child – Eowyn Ivey
The Snow Kimono – Mark Henshaw
The Terror – Dan Simmons
The Abominable – Dan Simmons (what can I say, I kinda like his books)
Winter’s End – Jean-Claude Mourlevat, Anthea Bell
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
What lovely covers!
Have you read The Snow Child? It was quite good.
My post.

I’m glad it’s not snowing here, but I’m not a snow person. I’ll enjoy on book covers instead any day.

It definitely snows where I live (Utah)…though we haven’t had much of it this year. Love the books you chose. The Snow Child made my TTT list, too. 🙂

Cool idea for a list! I’ve never heard of ‘Freedom is Space for the Spirit’ before but the cover art is gorgeous. 🙂

Greenglass House sounds fantastic. I haven’t heard of it before, but it’s going on my TBR pile immediately. Thanks for putting it on my radar!

It snows a lot where I am. It’s even snowing right now. I like your book cover choices. I’m hoping to read The Snow Child early next year.

How lovely (or maybe not, depending!) to think of snow falling outside as you wrote your comment! Do read the Snow Child. It was a great read!
