Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
Happy Wednesday! Claire has the link-up this week.
What I got from the library this week:
Daughter of the Moon Goddess – Sue Lynn Tan
A story inspired by Chang-e, the moon goddess. Stunning cover.
Love in the Big City – Sang Young Park (translated from Korean by Anton Hur)
Apparently, a runaway bestseller in South Korea. And here’s an article by the translator.

People From My Neighborhood – Hiromi Kawakami
This hold came in earlier last week. 26 interlinking stories about the residents.

The Red Threads of Fortune – Neon Yang
This is labelled as Tensorate #2 but both this book and The Black Tides of Heaven are described as “twin novellas” so I guess it doesn’t matter in which order that they’re read?
The kids’ loot:
So jealous about Daughter of the Moon Goddess! My library is being very slow to process their copies of this but I’m near the front of the queue when it is ready.
