Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
Happy Wednesday!
What I got from the library this week:

Bitter – Akwaeke Emezi
Well, I put this on hold the moment I saw this pop up on my library’s ebook catalogue. This is the prequel (or #0.5) to Pet, which was a great read.

Bourdain – Laurie Woolever
91 people provide some insights into Bourdain’s life.

Fiona and Jane – Jean Chen Ho
Stories about the lives of two Taiwanese American women.

The Return – Hisham Matar
I saw this on Maphead’s blog last week and hey, my library actually had the ebook. So I borrowed it.
Cool! Glad you could secure a copy.Happy reading!!

I’ve read most of The Return but had to return it before finishing but remember it as being very, very good. Happy reading!
