Library Loot (March 23 to 29)

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.

Happy Library Loot Day! I somehow managed to download a lot of ebooks this week….hopefully I’ll be able to get to all of them!

Claire has the link-up this week.

What I got from the library this week:

The Tourist Attraction – Sarah Morgenthaler

This sounds like a cute read set in Alaska.

Hide and Geek – T.P. Jagger

The geeks are Gina, Edgar, Elena, and Kevin, and they live in the hometown of a famous toymaker who passed away a long time ago. The toy factory is now on the brink of closing and the Geeks have to figure out one last puzzle left by the toymaker to save their town.

Ocean Light – Nalini Singh

I really liked Silver Silence when I read it last year. This is the second book in the series.

Donut Fall in Love – Jackie Lau

A romance between a baker and an actor? Plus she’s half-Asian and he’s Asian? Yes please.

The Inheritance Games – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

A billionaire leaves his fortune to a high schooler who has no idea who he is. To get the inheritance, she has to move into this mansion that’s full of secret passages, puzzles, and codes. Sounds promising? I don’t really know why I kept seeing this book around… so I figure I should download it.

Falling Short – Ernesto Cisneros

A middle-grade book about two friends in sixth grade. I’m really reading this to see if I could entice my 10yo to read it.
