Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
Happy Library Loot Day! What did you get from the library this week? Link up or comment below.
What I got from the library this week:

What Storm, What Thunder – Myriam J.A. Chancy
A 7.0 earthquake hits Haiti. This book follows several different characters and how their lives are affected.

The Cartographers – Peng Shepherd
So this cover makes me think of Interstellar, one of my favourite movies. And that scene where Matthew McConaughey’s character Cooper is “within” the bookshelves, or rather in a tesseract (I think?). In terms of the book, I have no idea what it’s about and I’d prefer to keep it that way!

Klara and the Sun – Kazuo Ishiguro
I decided that I would finally give this a read! I’ve enjoyed Ishiguro’s work but I wasn’t sure about this story about an AI. So hopefully it’s a good read.

A Lot Like Adios – Alexis Daria
I enjoyed You Had Me At Hola, so I’m looking forward to this one.
Universally great covers for your picks this week! I’ve got a few things out, including Donut Fall in Love inspired by your recent loot post.
