Library Loot (April 6 to 12)

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.

Happy Library Loot Day! Claire has the link-up this week.

One of the display cases at the library featured a quilt guild and some quilts that they’ve made. I especially like that yellow, black, and white one in the top photo.

What I got from the library this week:

Last Night at the Telegraph Club – Malinda Lo

This ebook hold came in! I’m quite looking forward to this one. It’s set in San Francisco’s Chinatown in the 1950s.

My Friend Anna – Rachel DeLoache Williams

I’ve no plans to watch Inventing Anna on Netflix, especially after reading this book! (Yes, I just borrowed it, and then promptly finished reading it that very day). This is a story written by a victim of the fraudster.

The Hawthorne Legacy – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

I had fun reading the first book in the series, The Inheritance Games, and immediately downloaded this ebook after I was done. Isn’t that the best thing about ebooks?

Ballgowns & Butterflies – Kelley Armstrong

This holiday novella is connected to the A Stitch in Time series.

  1. Last Night at the Telegraph Club looks intriguing and those are beautiful quilts! I wish my library had displays like this. We do now have a free seed library by the front door, with tiny pouches of free seeds for people to plant, which is pretty great.
