Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
Happy first Library Loot of June!
What I got from the library this week:

By The Book – Jasmine Guillory
This is part of a Disney reimagined fairy tales (or maybe more like Disney tales) series. Ok so I already raced to read this one finish last night!

The Spanish Love Deception – Elena Armas
Ah the good old fake boyfriend trope.

Sorrow and Bliss – Meg Mason
A story about a woman dealing with a mental illness.

Taste – Stanley Tucci (audiobook)
I watched some episodes of Searching for Italy and then it disappeared from HBO Max so never got to finish it. It was an interesting series where Tucci travels around Italy talking to people and learning about food. I didn’t have a particular interest in Tucci before watching the show but he was entertaining and I guess I was curious enough to borrow this audiobook.
I’ve been thoroughly enjoying Tucci’s adventures in Italy. I’m not fully caught up on the new season on CNN but did love the first episode in Venice, a city I love.

Oh my friend lent me Sorrow and Bliss. It was a nice rendition of glamorous bits of the UK, a light read, which is an odd thing to say, given the topic
