Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.

Happy Wednesday! What did you get from your library this week?

What I got from the library this week:

Grabbed a few physical books from the library this week.

Paris Daillencourt Is About to Crumble – Alexis Hall

Well I didn’t realise this was part of a series until I just looked at Goodreads to type up this write-up. It sounds like it may be a standalone though. I was really thrilled to spot this on the shelves, as I enjoyed Rosalind Palmer Takes the Cake. Plus it’s a queer romance that’s set on a baking show. Sounds delightful!

Daughters of the New Year – E.M. Tran

A story about five generations of a Vietnamese family in New Orleans.

The Genesis of Misery – Neon Yang

I loved Yang’s Tensorate series (starts with The Black Tides of Heaven) and am looking forward to this one.
